Luna Wolves Army Commission Showcase.

Kill for the living, kill for the dead! Lupercal, Lupercal, Lupercal!

Luna Wolves battle cant.
Horus, The Brightest Son of the Imperium.

Once upon a time, I painted a Luna Wolf collection.

This was one of the very first commissions I completed. This was at the dawn of the Horus Heresy when the models were being released for the Badab war series. Over time, when the Heresy characters started to roll out, and we got Hoprus the force was added to and expanded.

This collection is of course special to me. It’s nostalgia for a better time when the world wasn’t… well, like it is in 2020.

That Horus above was created from an obliterator sculpt – all metal. When compared to Simon’s work, by the Warmaster it does not hold up. The below are converted examples of Garviel Loken and Abaddon as Luna Wolves. I converted the entire Mournival including Sejanus, but for the life of me, I can’t find the photographs.

This army is melancholic in many ways. It is a time capsule of what was, a love letter to a bygone age.

This white scheme would be perfect for Early Crusade Luna Wolves.
